The King Pasture of the C Bar Ranch is the most western boundary fronted by county road 411 and CR 427 in a secluded setting of Mills County, TX. Enter the property from CR 411 to be greeted by an older frame ranch house and barns. The comfortable two bedroom, 1 bath house needs some exterior attention but a great weekend hunting camp. Just behind the house is Shaw Creek and perennial watershed of the Colorado River that catches drainage from the steep elevated hills above. Mature pecan, elm and live oak cover the creek’s path through the property. The drastic elevation change offers big views of the overlooking bottom to the west while rolling across the diverse property to the east. In addition to Shaw Creek are four dirt stock tanks of which one survives the summer months. An abundance of wildlife on this property including whitetail deer, hogs, turkey and varmints. The king pasture is appealing from front to back.
